Barrel-aged cocktails made by Clyde Common's restaurant bartender, Jeffery Morgenthaler, in Portland, Oregon. Pictured here is Jeffery with his assistant, Junior Smith, preparing 2.5 gallons of "Remember the Maine" - a classic cocktail named after the USS Maine which sank in the Havana harbor in 1898, the event which precipitated the Spanish-American War. The drink consists of Rye Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, Cheery Heering and Absinthe.
