Waikiki Beach, the beachfront neighborhood in Honolulu on the south shore of the island of Oahu, Hawaii, USA.  Waikiki means Spouting Fresh Water in Hawaiian, named so because of the freshwater springs that were here when this area was marshland.  Now, it is famous for surfing, swimming and shopping.  Approximately eight million visitors from all over the world come to visit Waikiki Beach every year.
