Historic Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama opened in 1910 and is the oldest surviving baseball park in America. Rickwood served as the home park for both the Birmingham Barons and the Birmingham Black Barons. Legendary Willie Mays led the Black Barons to their 1948 Negro American League championship here and over the years other baseball greats including Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson and Reggie Jackson all played at Rickwood Field. Picture here is Birmingham's Golden Bears of Miles College Baseball team playing against LeMoyne-Owen Dragons from Memphis, TN.
